I know you don't want us to use paypal - but I think that might be delaying lot of contributions.
Here is my case - I have a very hectic work schedule -so by the time I go home I forget to write and send a check. If I could do paypal then would be no problem as I can do from any where - work - from phone - anywhere.
Just a thought.. I have been planning to send $50 or so but kept on forgetting. Don't get me wrong but telling the truth here.

The applications recrived at TEXAS on 1st JUN started receiving recepit notices. One of my friends checks got cleared today. :confused: As per my analysys nebraska had a 6 day lag till Jan 1st. Lets see.

Is that not true? How come your friend sent it to TSC?

I would try to contact FM 104.9 and AM 700 in Dallas both radio stations are delivering programs in Hindi and Urdu and to the extent very popular in SOuth Assian community. I would update here about my efforts.

Like many others on these forums, I have given up significant opportunities because I believed mistakenly that the GC mess would be cleared up in 2-3 years. Sometimes that does lead to extreme frustration - My wife often jokes that when I do actually receive my GC, I will have lost a very convenient excuse that the lack of one is holding me back. :-)
To those who are starting down this path, I have this piece of unsolicited advice. If you feel that you are depressed and this is affecting your health and/or your family, it may be best to move on - the world is a big place, full of opportunity; opportunities that cannot be quantified by an O*NET job code. Enjoy everyday while you can - you only live once.

what would you say if there was a bill that provided for H-1bs:
1) visa for three years
2) minimum of median wage to be paid
3) free change of employers during the three years
4) must only leave country if unemployed for more than 60 days
5) at the end of 3 years, if not unemployed for more than 60 days, automatic green card
Would you prefer it over skil bill, which essentially only provides more visa and H-1b numbers?

If it looks like neither skil nor CIR are getting anywhere maybe its time to try and get this introduced in congress, originally propsed by our "friends" from the other side
maybe we can introduce this as a bill instead of skil

Some people swear it helped them for my case I did not use that option.
Hope this date line helps those who are waiting for their cards. Good luck to every one on forum. I will still be supporting IV and contributing to Wiki as always.

Can we start a thread only for those sending 485s to the TSC say after July 17, 2007? (This is because most postings are for the NSC).
