Hi,
I have applied for my EAD and I-485 in the month of June '07 and all that i have recieved so far is my wife's EAD. I still did not recieve my EAD nor the finger prints notice nor the 485 yet. I have to move to IL from TX now and i am in a big confusion now. I heard that the mails from the USICS will not be forwarded to any new address by the USPS. If i would want to change my address with the USCIS now will it be a good move or is there any other alternative that you all could suggest me...Please advice me on this issue and help me out of this situation.

Calling up Customer service fixed it. My card did arrive a month+ after my spouse. there was some problem with production of my card first time around.

I changed my job recently , didn't talk about anything immigration, ead anything. Even when I asked , I told them "That will not be an issue, and nothing is required by the company to do for me". At the time of joining I gave my EAD and SSN. Thats it HR lady didn't ask anything just took the Photocopy of it and kept in the file.
I did not file AC-21 as well , though as part of the joining process without asking I as given the appointment letter, role and jobdesctription , which I can use as EVL. I think this is standard process which every company follows. So flow in the process and there should not be any issues. Also after making the offer the company cannot deny the offer because of EAD thats, the law. So wait and speak wisely till you get the offer letter.

Brief Description of my Case Joined Vision Systems Group INC,(VSGInc), Southplains Field, NJ in the year March 2003. My H1B was transferred to VSG Inc from my previous company which got merged with another company. VSG Inc filed my Labor Certification in 2003 (EB3) on Dec 23,2003 which has gone to Back Log Center, Harrisburg, PA and got approved only in Dec, 2006. In July 2006 VSG Inc, filed PERM under EB2 and got approved and filed I140 under EB2. But when USCIS sent RFE, my company has withdrawn the I140 without responding to RFE. In July 2007, during 2007 visa fiasco, VSG Inc filed I140 electronically, and I485 and other papers concurrently in July 02, 2007. Got the receipt notices for I140 dated 07-02-2007 and for I485 and others on 06-05-2008. Received EAD and travel docs in July 2008. My I140 is still pending at Nebraska Service center as on date. When contacted trough the Local Congress Man, Dept. Of Home land Security replied on Feb 09, 2009 as follows: �The processing of I-140 has been delayed, not yet ready for decision as it has been selected for extended security review, independent of FBI name check and fingerprints. Until the review is completed, we cannot move forward on this case. We will make every effort to make a decision on this case as soon as the review is complete. However, we have contacted the security team POC to see if this case can be reviewed to see if it can be moved for adjudication.� VISION SYSTEMS GROUP, INC., a New Jersey Domestic Profit Corporation, with a branch office in Coon Rapids, Iowa, was also indicted in a ten count federal indictment that included one count of conspiracy, eight counts of mail fraud, and one count of �Notice of Forfeiture� in the amount of $7,400,000. Vow quite a turnaround. First you say its you who want to do it and when you get the heat you claim otherwise.
Either way this is pure 'FRAUD' . If you are the person who is doing it USCIS will have ways to track it and it will come back during your Naturalization or at any time when u enter the country. If you are just trying to report this to authorities you can do so at your state DOL or write a letter to USCIS with details if you have it.

I think you are only supposed to get 1 year extensions if your LC/I-140 was filed atleast 365 days ago, but I have seen atleast two people get 3 year extensions even though they had filed I-485, just because their PD was not current.
Its USCIS discretion or interpretation of their rules. Ask your attorneys to request 3 years when they file.
I am going the other way (just got a 3 year extension approved 2 days before that announcement that dates are current again) and will be filing 485 now.

Yes, i opened a new thread so that everybody can see that CIS does mostly work on cases according to 485 Receipt Date. Otherwise i can't justify my EAD approval. I filed 485 and AP on June 18th and got RNs 2 weeks later. But EAD was filed later on July 12th. I got the receipt number for EAD from the back of my cashed check but never got actual Receipt Notice. Today i got the email that card production has been ordered.
So if they have to approve an EAD filed in mid July, they must have gone with the 485 Receipt date. There is an LUD for our APs too for this Sunday. I'm happy that they are processing the cases in somewhat FIFO order. I was expecting EAD only 3-4months later since i filed it along with the July flood of applications.

Recently I transfered my H1 B from X company to Y company & now I am going for my visa renewal. My previous employer is not providing me the experience letter. Though I am having all my paystubs, appointment letter etc. I think I need the experience letter also...So what should I do now. Please suggest me.

Experience letter is always useful for H1B and Green Card purposes. Try to take an affidavit from your supervisor(ideal) or colleague listing the duration and technologies involved.

I like the second shot a lot. Nicely done.
I think the third shot needs to be closer. There's a little too much negative space around the arrangement. Just my 2 cents.

One thing I've noticed about studio product shots is that the most difficult part is finding the props to support the atmoshere of the photo...and then arranging them in a pleasant fashion. I've still got a lot to learn in that department.

2. If after submission of 221(g) her visa gets rejected, can she still use the Advance Parole to travel to US and work on her EAD?
3. Any other options/advice?

We had 4-5 continueous LUD's after couple of weeks they recieved response (June 2009) but still status is showing response reeived.
Recently even changed job to local government but not yet submitted AC 21, I am in the process of preparing documentation. I appreciate if any one help me on this.

Why even bother?
Forget worrying about about CNN and Lou Dobbs. They are NOBODY and of no significance for the quest for immigration reform.
If CNN drops Lou that will not pass CIR or recapture. There are so much Lou Dobbs are there in USA. It is a waste of time.
