My status never went to CPO but directly went to PDA...but I received the physical GC in a few days after the Welcome notice (hard copy) and the PDA status change.

Seriously I think we need to do the same and pursue the non-controversial goals first and then attempt the Home Run.
If Microsoft with all the money and power can't get visa increase, it's naive to assume that we can do that in one shot. Let's just fry the small fish first.

I pledged 100 $ today for Aman's expenses because I felt really bad abt that. I donated around 300$ till date including 20$ recurring contribution.
I filed my 485 long time ago. But when people who are really seeing the fruits of IV (July VB reversal) are higly reluctant to donate even a few bucks, while they are spending thousand's of dollars for their 485 stuff, I am kinda confused.
Are people really that selfish not to donate a few bucks(may be 5$per month) to an organization which is making them file 485 and reversed all this fiasco.

What does ADIT processing means any idea is that we need to go to local USCIS office for the interview?
Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before you get your new card call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

However if someone takes the company to court based on "Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986" vs hiring an H1B, how can the company legally defend itself against this law ?

Are we sure that there are around 5-6k EB3 pending in the years 2002 and 2003. If thats true then it will take atleast 6 more years to process all the EB3's for 2002 and 2003 :(

My lawyers sent all their applications to NSC, irrespective of where I 140 was processed. In reality i dont think there was any directive from USCIS askingthem not to do so.
Anyway.. my application was also received by M Schweitzer on Augs 1st 9am.
my I140 was cleared in Texas. So far nothing.
Its good to hear July 31st people getting updates.. gives me reason to cheer!!

This is good for us in a way because it lessen the risk of rejection but also bad because it causes delays as USCIS have to transfer some application from one Service Center to another.

My case is similar to yours: dates, TSC, received EAD before receipts, don't know who paid the checks, etc.
I inquired my attorney and they sent me the receipts. Ask them, they would have received it already.

How do you know that the visa numbers will indeed become "U", come October? Any numbers/sources to back up the claim?
I know some senior members previously indicated in these forums that there is a difference between a "U"-Unavailable and a retrogressed date of 2003 for example.

My application reached NSC on JUN 1st. Recepted on Jun 5th. checks cleared 8th June. Received receipts on Jun11th was mailed by NSC on 7th June. I am still waiting on my wifes. Checks not cleared yet...

We have explained you during the phone conversation that it is not the right time to pick up country limits issue. We have run this by our strategist again and they have also advised us that its not the right time for this issue. Others on the forum, including unitednations, have also made an attempt to explain you the issues we are all dealing with. You are free to do whatever you think is best for you. We think that your actions are likely to harm the community effort. During your conversation with mirage, did you explain to him why it would hurt our cause ? From our discussion in the group, it didn't seem he was aware why IV core was against it.
I think the threat of "ban" is out of place for mirage. Even if you ban his user id, he can pursue with his agenda irrespective of whether he is banned or not. IV core should educate mirage and other focus group leaders than threatening to ban them.
There have been so many divisive threads on this forum. IV admins never thought of banning such members.
He is a genuine member maybe not knowledgeable as IV core. Thats all.
